Pat and I travelled to NYC today to see the Christo installation: The Gates. It was a perfect day to see them – bright with spots of sunshine. Central Park was crowded with people from all over the world, talking, enjoying, photographing. A very interesting experience! See my rough edit photos here.

So, here I sit in Panera’s, on my way to somewhere else, enjoying their WiFi. Chic and yet so geeky, although I have to say that my PB is the coolest machine in the joint. The rest? Let’s just say big and black also-rans, emphasis on the big! 12″ powerbooks rule, the rest – well they drool.

OK, enough of that. I’m just sitting back, surfing some web and catching up on some reading while waiting for my next stop. Can’t help but think about George over in Cleveland — his is the nomadic life and I hope he’s enjoying it even more with his new iBook!
