AJ I just looked at the stack of strips and it looks like it’s about 35-40 different fabrics. Not all those strips will become squares right away some do and they get added to the stash both ways so they’re ready to go.

Yes, Deirdre is very comfortable and ultimately satisfied with her brilliant placement coup. Moira doesn’t have two big guys and the tall, long, skinny one she has is not always suitably compliant. She is emphatically jealous!

That new fabric is an amazing find! There are the orbs of both your dream and the Apple intro. My second reaction to them was, “Hmmm. They’re a little too, ah, regimented. They need to float free,” I know your imagination will help them do that.

So, that’s some stack of strips. How many, do you know? About how many fabrics? My mind balked a bit at that much painstaking detail ahead. I wrote that and then thought, “Silly Audrey! You’re planning to dive into genealogical play and frustration today, followed by entry of recent wine deliveries into a complex online playground called CellarTracker.” An old saying about pots and kettles comes to mind!

Like ‘em, MB. I’m especially partial to the last one because its last line has wonderful multiple meanings to me: (1) waves knocking me on my back (especially when I used to sit in the water with Dad where the surf meets the sand, facing out to sea); (2) backing into the waves at a 45 degree angle, legs churning; and (3) drinking either sea water (obvious, embedded) or “fire water” from a shot glass, multiple times, with resulting impacts – primordial indeed.

Oh no! I hate the feeling that I will never again get my arms back into a quasi-natural position. I’m not fond of calling for help when stuck in awkward clothing situations, but practicality beats out pride on such occasions. Glad you got out of the tunic-thing relatively unscathed! Extra points for letting them know that it was not, emphatically, an XL. I wish more people would commit such small but significant acts of kindness.

Like the whole story but the last part was so funny . Scary but funny.
Funnier yet I also stopped at the Peter Harris in Latham while I was out. I looked around for something for Dad gave up. Looked quick at the women’s stuff and thought not today.
